The Society is justly pround of its Programme of events, which contribute to the realisation of the main field of activity that relates to the Society: research, as set out in the first of its Laws. As part of its charitable status the Society is required to make the results of all its activities available to the public and thus ‘educate' in the widest sense. The monthly lectures throughout the Society year, the conferences, symposia, workshops and, of course, the publications, all make this possible.  All our events are now open to non-Fellows and Fellows alike, please feel free to make others aware of our programme.

Most lecture meetings start at 6.00pm in Edinburgh and 7.30pm in Aberdeen.  The Anniversary Meeting (AGM) starts at 4.30pm in Edinburgh. Please note the earlier time of 5pm for the Saturday 16th March Ness of Brodgar lecture!
