You can now apply for Fellowship online or fill out a PDF application form and send it to Fellowship@socantscot.org

You can also print the application form and send by post to Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1JF.  

To be eligible for election you need to: 

1. Secure sponsorship: your application needs the support of one current Fellow who can confirm your interest in and commitment to the study and understanding of Scotland’s past. Don’t worry if you do not know any Fellows, we can help, please get in touch. You can also look at our public list of current Fellows here.  

2. Submit Your Application: Complete our online application (or by email or post) by the following closing dates:

a. For late April Election: February 28th

b. For late November Election: September 30th 

Please note that your application will be treated in confidence and, if accepted, offered for election by the Fellowship. Subscriptions are not due until you are elected. No money should be sent with the application form. Following election to the Society new Fellows will be contacted with full Fellowship information and payment details. By becoming a Fellow, you are agreeing to the Society’s data protection policy.
